Quavo has fired back at Chris Brown’s recent jab towards him by poking fun at the singer’s rumored past involvement with his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
In his latest track “Tender,” the former Migos member addresses Brown’s history of domestic issues and substance use, implying that Brown’s behavior drove Tran away. He also hints at his own connection with Tran, suggesting that their relationship might be a sore spot for Brown.
Quavo’s response comes after Brown’s remarks on his own track “Freak,” where Brown indirectly addressed Quavo, mentioning past relationships and preferences in alcohol.
The tension between Brown and Quavo dates back to 2017 when they reportedly got into a scuffle at a BET Awards afterparty. Despite briefly being seen together at a Paris Fashion Week event earlier this year, Brown quickly dismissed any reconciliation rumors by publicly criticizing Quavo.
Karrueche Tran, who was in an on-and-off relationship with Brown from 2010 to 2015, has remained silent on the matter and has never confirmed any romantic involvement with Quavo, despite speculation.
