J Cole has faced accusations of betrayal towards Drake due to his surprise appearance on the latest album from Drake’s apparent adversaries, Future and Metro Boomin.

In the new album “We Still Don’t Trust You,” which follows the contentious “We Don’t Trust You,” Cole features on the track “Red Leather.” In his verses, he boasts about his legacy and reflects on relationships and monogamy, including mentioning rapper and OnlyFans personality Rubi Rose.

While Cole doesn’t explicitly address recent drama involving himself, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar, his collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin has been perceived by many as a betrayal to Drake, especially considering the previous shots taken at Drake by Kendrick and Future.

Fans took to social media to express their dismay, with some sharing memes and others expressing disappointment over what they see as a shift in alliances within the hip-hop community.

Before this collaboration, J. Cole was widely regarded as Drake’s staunch ally, having previously collaborated on hits like “First Person Shooter” and toured together. However, Cole’s response to Kendrick Lamar’s diss on Future and Metro Boomin’s track “Like That,” followed by a controversial apology to Kendrick during Dreamville Festival, seemed to strain his relationship with Drake.

There’s also speculation that Drake might be preparing a diss track in response to these developments, though he has yet to directly address them.
