Country rapper Jelly Roll recently revealed on the “Cancelled with Tana Mongeau” podcast that he turned down the opportunity to meet with hip-hop mogul Diddy months ago due to what he described as “bad mojo” from the rap icon.
During the podcast, Jelly Roll shared that although he initially agreed to the meeting, he abruptly changed his mind while walking down the hallway to meet Diddy. Feeling uneasy about the situation, he decided to turn back and head to his car instead.
Jelly Roll attempted to lighten the mood with a joke about Diddy’s alleged involvement in Tupac Shakur’s death, but the attempt fell flat, further adding to his discomfort.
Reflecting on the incident, Jelly Roll admitted that it’s rare for him to feel such negative vibes and expressed uncertainty about whether meeting Diddy was something he wanted to pursue.
Interestingly, just a month later, Diddy’s ex-partner, Cassie, filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of rape and human trafficking. Diddy settled the lawsuit with Cassie the following day.
Currently, Diddy is facing a slew of sexual assault and sex trafficking allegations, with federal authorities conducting investigations, including recent raids on his two residences.
Jelly Roll’s decision to forego the meeting with Diddy underscores the heightened scrutiny surrounding the rap mogul amidst these serious allegations.
